This body of work demonstrates a poster series completed “anonymously.” Originally, large posters were printed and mounted on wood then displayed inside my communal studio space.

All KODAMA series was my answer to later experimentation of visual appeal in random, anonymous places. I wanted to start a dialog with passers-by.

The public is more familiar with bad design than good design. It is, in effect, conditioned to prefer bad design, because that is what it lives with. The new becomes threatening, the old reassuring.Paul Rand
