Metal Truck Bed Storage System

This design was developed in response to existing truck bed storage solutions that sit excessively high above the bed surface, limiting usability and cargo space. The low-profile system maintains an overall height of just 5 inches, making it ideal for storing skis, tools, and other flat equipment while preserving valuable bed capacity. Constructed from stainless steel for long-term durability, the unit is accessible exclusively from the tailgate side and features a slide-out drawer that operates once the tailgate is opened. The drawer itself is fabricated from 0.2-inch aluminum sheet and is engineered to support loads of up to 150 pounds.
